Frankly an over excited teenage boy playing and over excited 10 foot tall, six limbed alien in charge of crew discipline? What's not to like?
Now, as you may have seen, we make good use of miniatures in our games (I find it helps players visualize things and leads to less arguments over who can see/do what, plus I LOVE making models...) so a new Vorox character presented a new challenge; A Vorox miniature. Back in the day there was a vorox figure produced as part of the limited run of miniatures produced by Holistic Design. However it's a) now rarer than rocking horse droppings b) honestly not all that "vorox-y" when you consider the source artwork (a restriction of casting in metals at the time, I'd guess).
Therefore it was off to the bits box for components. I had a rummage and found some Star Wars "Yuzzem" aliens I didn't mind cutting up and so started work.....

Above: The assembled Vorox. The yellow stuff is two-part epoxy clay used to fill gaps and cover a multitude of sins and mistakes....
